National Guards Arrest and Releases a Female Teenager Protester in Venezuela

Venezuela becomes news again, this time after several images about a female protester being detained by Bolivarian National Guards surfaced on the web and local media.

They show 17 year-old Paula Colmenárez being stomped over and the taken into custody by a group of GNB during a protest in Caracas, the country´s capital. Her identity was confirmed by journalist and radio announcer Carla Carrera, who is also related to the young woman and said that after the agressive detention she was later released from custody and is now reunited with her family.
