Bikers Hijack an 18-Wheeler full of Sugar - Mad Max Style

Readers might think the title is a bit exaggerated, but after seeing the video bellow they might start to consider changing their actual perception of the Venezuelan crisis.

According to the YouTube Channel "Último Momento Venezuela" (Last Minute Venezuela) the video was caught by a person who, while recording with his cellphone, described the situation to viewers. You can actually hear his concern about a fellow coworker who drives a semi-truck and was en route thru that same road: the Zulia - Los Andes Highway.

A swarm of bikers chased down the 18 Wheeler loaded with sugar, throwing Molotov cocktails at its cabin and engine while a few of them slowed down in front until the driver finally stopped. In a matter of minutes, the truck´s payload was completely sacked while bystanders watched the scene in awe - and even some of them participated in the looting. We´re sure that any resemblance to "Fury Road" is not intended, yet the nature of the incident is astonishingly similar to George Miller´s dystopian future.

Sugar has become scarce during the past few months due to an incresing shortage of basic foods that range from Corn Fluor to Rice and Beans, and that has now extended to less common items as canned goods and Bread.
